Kevin immediately swung into action, plunging into the cold sea in his shorts to rescue the surfers, which comprised two men and a teenage girl. Using one of the surfer’s boards, he swam all 3 of the exhausted surfers to a nearby sandbar.
Kevin Brader was not only praised for his bravery but has received accolades for his prompt action.

Two brothers swam to the unconscious boy in a bid to save him and their efforts have continued to receive accolades from community members and neighbors.
