The New USCG Approved LIFE RING Is Making A Splash At The 2024 California Aquatic Management School (CAMS)

The innovative new USCG Approved rescue LIFE RING™ buoy is making a splash at the 2024 California Aquatic Management School (CAMS) in Huntington Beach, California. California Aquatic Management School (CAMS) attendees were able to examine the USCG Approved LIFE RING™ in person as it was on display as part of the event’s silent auction. The LIFE RING was created and is marketed by eLifeguard.com, a leading brand in water safety and rescue products that operates worldwide. eLifeguard.com is headquartered in Rockledge, Florida and has been in operation for over 25 years. Among the company’s other product offerings are its EVERONDACK® brand lifeguard chairs and LIFE™ Rescue Tube.

eLifeguard.com worked with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) for several years to ensure that the LIFE RING and its paradigm shifting technology are fully compliant with and meet or exceed US Coast Guard regulations concerning lifesaving devices of this kind.

A versatile new feature of the LIFE RING is the molded in LIFE GRIPS™ that make grabbing hold of the ring much easier, not to mention holding on afterwards. This patented new grip feature is entirely new to lifesaving and was originally introduced in the eLifeguard.com’s LIFE Rescue Tube, which is the preferred rescue device for many lifeguards worldwide.

The closed cell foam of the new ring doesn’t absorb water or bodily fluids even if punctured, making the LIFE RING a much needed improvement compared to the half-century old vinyl dipped model ring buoy that is plagued by cracking, unglued rope beckets, and fading.

The LIFE RING is ideal for commercial and residential swimming pools, hotels, resorts, lakes, camps, beaches, boating watercraft, as well as waterparks.
